Cent Accounts
A cent account holds real money and routes to the real market. The difference is scale — your balance is denominated in cents, and a lot is a hundredth of a standard lot.
Deposit ten dollars and MT5 shows a balance of 1,000. A trade that would risk fifty dollars on a standard account risks fifty cents here. It is the practical way to test an expert advisor against live fills, or to learn position sizing without a demo server's unrealistically perfect execution.
